APPLICATION

QUIMAGEL XG It is mainly used in the drilling of granular material, clays and silts, as long as the medium is not very acidic (pH>5.5). In aqueous solution it forms a highly viscous gel whose main applications are:

  • Facilitate drilling due to its “lubricant” effect.
  • Support and give more stability to the borehole walls.
  • Avoid siphoning when drilling confined groundwater tables at very low pressure.
  • Facilitate the extraction of detritus from inside the borehole.
  • Facilitate the cooling of the bit or drill bit.
Aplicación

QUIMAGEL XG se utiliza principalmente en perforación de material granular, arcillas y limos, siempre que el medio no sea muy ácido (pH>5.5). En solución acuosa forma un gel de elevada viscosidad cuyas aplicaciones principales son:

– Facilitar perforación por su efecto “lubricante”.
– Sujetar y dar más estabilidad a las paredes del sondeo.
– Evitar sifonamiento al perforar niveles freáticos confinados a
muy baja presión.
– Facilitar la extracción de detritus del interior del sondeo.
– Facilitar la refrigeración de la broca o corona de perforación.
